并列句(
compound sentence)指的是由兩個(gè)或兩個(gè)以上的簡(jiǎn)單句并列在一起構(gòu)成的句子。并列句的通常結(jié)構(gòu)是：簡(jiǎn)單句+并列連詞+簡(jiǎn)單句。其中的簡(jiǎn)單句通常被叫做分句。并列連詞之前可用逗號(hào)，也可不用逗號(hào)。如：
He
drank beer, and it made him fat. 他喝啤酒，因此發(fā)胖了。(并列連詞是and)
He was ill for a week, and
during that week he ate
nothing. 他病了一星期，在那一星期里他什么也沒(méi)吃。(并列連詞是and)
