realize可用作及物動詞,也可用作不及物動詞。用作及物動詞時,可接名詞、代詞或that/wh-從句作賓語。作“了解”“認識到”解時不用于進行體,也不用于被動結構; 作“實現(xiàn)”解時可用于被動結構。
realize可接介詞from,表示“從…獲得”,接on表示“通過出售…獲得”。
realize在英式拼法中也可拼作realise。
在英語中可以說So I realized和I so realized,但不可說I realized so,但在下面的句子里的I realize so是可以成立的：He is my best friend but I never realized so until now.他是我最好的朋友,但直到現(xiàn)在我才意識到這一點。
