Benday process: A method of mechanically transferring dots or texture pattrens to produce tonal value in line drawings. 本戴制版法:用機(jī)械方法把網(wǎng)點(diǎn)或紋理圖案轉(zhuǎn)移到線(xiàn)條畫(huà)上以產(chǎn)生明暗色調(diào)的效果。
Even the oversized dots used by Lichtenstein, the "Benday dots", are reminiscent of his famous comic-strip pictures. 甚至過(guò)多圓點(diǎn)用列支敦士登,"畫(huà)出圓點(diǎn)",想起了他的著名相聲帶照片。
The pattern so used is also called Benday tint which is now better known as Screen tint. 他所用的圖案亦稱(chēng)為本戴淡色調(diào),但現(xiàn)在則稱(chēng)為平網(wǎng)色調(diào)。
In 1961 Lichtenstein started to create paintings the were from comic-strip figures, using benday dots, lettering and speech balloon. 1961年他開(kāi)始將那最為平淡無(wú)奇的連環(huán)漫畫(huà)中的形象,放到他的大幅的畫(huà)面上去。
