區(qū)別一：兩者都可放在形容詞之前用作程度狀語，且通常都與那些表示“不好”意義的形容詞(如: tired, cold, sick, sad, serious 等)連用。如：

注：a bit 和 a little 一般不能用于表示“好”意義的形容詞如 good, well, happy, glad, satisfied 等)之前。如：

但是，若修飾比較級，則沒有以上限制。如：

區(qū)別二：a little 可直接用于名詞(不可數(shù))前作定語，但 a bit 卻不能，它用于名詞(不可數(shù))之前時應(yīng)先接介詞 of。如：

He knows a bit of [a little] French. 他懂一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)法語。
但是若名詞前有 my, this, the 等限定詞修飾，則不能直接用 a little, 而用 a little of。如：

注：a bit of 后有時接單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞表示“有點(diǎn)(像)”。如：

區(qū)別三：盡管在肯定句中，兩者在很多情況下同義且可互換，但在否定結(jié)構(gòu)中，兩者意思幾乎相反：
(1) not a bit 意為“一點(diǎn)也不”(= not at all)。如：
He is not a bit worried. 他一點(diǎn)也不著急。
A：Is it difficult? 它很難嗎?
B：Not a bit. 一點(diǎn)不難。
(2) not a little 意為“很”、“非常”(= very)。如：
I’m not a little tired. 我很累了。
He was not a little angry. 他非常生氣。
