strange的基本意思有二：一是“陌生的”,指本身雖屬正常,但對(duì)某人來說卻是不熟悉的、陌生的; 二是“奇怪的,奇異的”,指本身就與眾不同。

strange作“奇怪的”解時(shí),可用作定語或表語,比較級(jí)是stranger,最高級(jí)是strangest; 作“陌生的”解時(shí),常用作表語,沒有比較級(jí)和最高級(jí)。

strange也可作“頭暈,不舒服”解。

strange前可用very修飾。

strange在It+be+～+that-clause結(jié)構(gòu)中, that引導(dǎo)的主語從句中的謂語動(dòng)詞須用虛擬語氣。

strange后接介詞in表示“在某方面很怪”,其后接at時(shí)表示“在某方面外行”。
