danger的基本意思是“危險”,指受到威脅的狀態(tài)或事實,也指這種威脅的原因或來源。danger所指的“危險”一般是預想中可能發(fā)生的,但不一定不可避免或已迫在眉睫。
泛指“危險”時, danger是不可數(shù)名詞,指具體的“危險”或“危險物”“可能造成損傷、疼痛等的人”時,是可數(shù)名詞。
danger如有非謂語動詞修飾時,后接“of+動名詞”,不接動詞不定式。
