market作“集市,市場”解,是可數(shù)名詞; 作“行情”解,常用單數(shù)形式。

market也可作“需求,銷路”解,是不可數(shù)名詞,還可作“銷售地區(qū)”解,是可數(shù)名詞,其后常接介詞for。

market有時可用于其他名詞前作定語。

market用作及物動詞時,作“銷售”解,后面常接名詞或代詞作賓語,不可接從句或不定式。

market用作不及物動詞主要用在美式英語go marketing短語中,表示“購物”。例如:Would you go marketing.你去買東西嗎?
