His opinion is that the intellect of modern man isn't superior. 他的看法是:現(xiàn)代人的智力并不高超。

當(dāng)superior用來形容人的時候，有諷刺意味，有“自以為了不起”的意思；

當(dāng)superior形容物的時候，用于表示其“好質(zhì)量”時，也是顯得做作，使描述顯得不可信；

“比……強(qiáng)”要用superior to，而不能用superior than；

superior和superiority后面都接to ，表示“……高于或好于……”，以A is superior to B和A's superiority to B的結(jié)構(gòu)來表達(dá)。

superior用作形容詞時,本身含有“較”的意思,故不再有比較級或最高級形式,用“superior...to...”表示“兩事物的比較”。
