[動](東印度)眼鏡猴,跗猴

It may look like a gremlin, but this tiny animal is actually a pygmy tarsier, recently rediscovered in the forests of Indonesia. 看起來像個小鬼，其實這種弱小的動物是最近在印度尼西亞被重新發(fā)現(xiàn)的侏儒眼鏡猴。

We studied a maxillary fragment of tarsier and revealed that tarsiers had already achieved gigantic orbits and bell-shaped palate by the time of middle Eocene. 對于眼鏡猴上頜骨片斷的研究表明，中始新世的眼鏡猴已經(jīng)具有了如同現(xiàn)生眼鏡猴一樣的鐘形腭和明顯增大的眼眶。
