胚盤

meroblastic Type of cleavage in which only the blastodisc undergoes division. 不完全卵裂只有胚盤歷經卵裂的過程。

yolk cell A giant syncytial uncleaved cell containing the yolk. It underlies the blastodisc early in development and becomes enveloped by the blastoderm during epiboly. 卵黃細胞龐大的融合不分裂細胞，包含卵黃的。發(fā)育早期它在胚盤之下，外包時期變成藉由囊胚包裹。

vegetal pole Opposite to the animal pole on the egg. Later in embryonic development corresponds to the point on the yolk cell furthest from the developing blastodisc. 植物極在卵上位于動物極對面。稍后胚胎發(fā)育在卵黃細胞上與發(fā)展中的胚盤最遠的一點。
