注意emerge同come to light在語義上的區(qū)別。前者是（事實(shí)）顯現(xiàn)出來，后者是“顯露，暴露”。

emerge的基本意思是“出現(xiàn)”,指隱藏的、模糊的、孕育中的或原來并不重要的事物顯露或出現(xiàn),常指一種前所未見的新情況、新問題的出現(xiàn)。

emerge是不及物動詞,常與from, out of或into等介詞連用,也常用于It emerged that ...結(jié)構(gòu)。

emerge還可作系動詞,接名詞或形容詞作表語。

emerge是不及物動詞,不可用于被動結(jié)構(gòu)。例如: 鯨從海洋深處出現(xiàn)。誤:The whale was emerged from the ocean depths.正:The whale emerged from the ocean depths.
