appreciate作“感激”“重視”“體會到”解時,是及物動詞,可接名詞、動名詞(但不接動詞不定式)作賓語,也可接that從句。可用于被動結(jié)構(gòu)。appreciate作“增值”解時是不及物動詞,作“使增值”解時是及物動詞。
appreciate可接動名詞,但不接動詞不定式。例如: 我們將樂于再收到你的信。誤:We shall appreciate to hear from youagain.正:We shall appreciate hearing from youagain.
