autonomy還可用作可數(shù)名詞,指享有自治權(quán)的“自治國(guó)家、自治州、自治區(qū)、自治共同體、自治團(tuán)體”。

autonomy相當(dāng)于self-government,因此前面不可再加self-,但在新聞?wù)Z體中,卻有self-autonomy的用法。
