Antheridium The male sex organ of the algae, mosses, liverworts, hornworts, ferns, horsetails, clubmosses, and fungi. 精子器：藻類、苔蘚、地錢、蕨類等植物中的雄性生殖器官。

The antheridium is visible 60 days after sowing, pelletlike, consisting of three cells. 原葉體邊緣及背腹面都具毛狀體，毛狀體由單細胞構成。

When the gametes are readily distinguished as male or female, other therms may be used such as ANTHERIDIUM, ARCHIEGONUM, or OOGONIUM. 配子很快地分化為雌性或雄性以后，其他的細胞會形成如精子囊，頸卵器，卵囊等器官。
