Grain rain is the
sixth solar term of
Chinese traditional festival,
which is also the last solar term in the
spring season that
means the
coming of
summer and the warm
weather helps the
grain to grow
quickly.
Nowadays,
different areas have different ways to
celebrate this festival.谷雨是中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日的第六個(gè)節(jié)氣,也是春季的最后一個(gè)節(jié)氣,這意味著夏季的到來(lái)和溫暖的天氣將有助于糧食快速生長(zhǎng)。如今,不同的地區(qū)有著不同的慶祝方式。
About 4,000
years ago, the
emperor named a man to be the
government officer. The man's job was to use
shells and
knots to
records incidents, but soon he
found this way wasn't
effective due to the
raise of incidents.
Finally, he
created the
words and the emperor made a big
celebration. Then it
rained with grain, so
people called this day Grain Rain.大約4000年前,皇帝任命一個(gè)人為政府官員。這個(gè)人的工作是用貝殼和繩結(jié)來(lái)記錄事件,但很快他發(fā)現(xiàn)這種方式隨著事件的增加而行不通,最后,他創(chuàng)造了文字,皇帝也舉行了一場(chǎng)盛大的慶祝活動(dòng)。后來(lái)下雨了,所以人們把這一天稱為谷雨節(jié)。
Since then, when Grain Rain
comes, people
would celebration for
seven to ten days.
People built a
temple in
honor of this
great man.
Thousands of people came to the temple to join the
activity. They
danced and made big
performances. Now, people feel so
grateful about the rain, which
gives them hope of big
harvest. 從那時(shí)起,當(dāng)谷雨來(lái)臨的時(shí)候,人們會(huì)慶祝7到10天。人們建了一座廟來(lái)紀(jì)念這位偉人。成千上萬(wàn)的人來(lái)到寺廟參加活動(dòng),他們跳舞和表演。現(xiàn)在,人們非常感激雨,因?yàn)橛杲o了他們大豐收的希望。
Though people made different
traditions on Grain Rain, they are all
