distribute的基本意思是“分散,分發(fā),分類”,指將某物分成數(shù)份并配給適當(dāng)?shù)娜嘶騿挝?也可指將其均衡地分散在某一地區(qū)。其賓語一般為復(fù)數(shù)名詞或代詞,謂語動詞可用主動式,但更多的是用被動式。賓語后常可根據(jù)句意而搭用介詞to或among,不論用to或among,分發(fā)對象都不能是某一個人而應(yīng)是一批人。

distribute作“散播”解時,后可接seed等作賓語。

請區(qū)分以下兩個句子: 誤:The nurse distributed the biggest apple to John.護士把最大的蘋果分給了約翰。正:The nurse distributed the apples to everyone.護士把蘋果分給了每一個人。
