doubtful從主觀角度說,指某人“懷疑”某人某事,后面常接介詞of或about,意為對…懷疑; 從客觀角度說,指某人某事“令人懷疑”,意為“可疑的,使人產(chǎn)生疑問的”。

doubtful作“懷疑的,不能肯定的”解時,可接由where, what, whether等引導(dǎo)的短語或從句。

在“It is doubtful”之后常接whether或if引導(dǎo)的從句,用于疑問或否定結(jié)構(gòu)時, doubtful可搭用it的同位結(jié)構(gòu)的that從句。
