give notice或have notice一般指離職或遷讓的通知：當(dāng)后面跟不定式，notice前面可加冠詞a。give notice后面也可跟that從句。 He gave me a notice to leave by the end of the week.他通知我要在這周結(jié)束前離開。 The tenant gave notice that he was going to move on the first day of the next month.這個(gè)房客通知說他會(huì)在下個(gè)月的第一天搬走。

notice作動(dòng)詞時(shí)，后可跟不含to的不定式，但用在被動(dòng)語態(tài)中時(shí)，不定式中一定要含to。 I noticed a boy come out of the house.A boy was noticed to come out of the house.

notice后還可以跟現(xiàn)在分詞，強(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)作過程。 I noticed a boy coming out of the house.我無意間看到一個(gè)男孩正從房子里出來。

notice的基本意思是“布告,通告,啟示”,指用以宣傳某事的發(fā)生或傳達(dá)某種指示的通知。也可指“預(yù)告,通知”,即告訴某人某事即將發(fā)生。notice還可指提醒某人對(duì)某事引起“注意”。引申可指“評(píng)價(jià),短評(píng)”。

give notice和have notice中的notice,通常指離職、辭職或解雇等的“通知”,當(dāng)have notice和give notice后面帶有動(dòng)詞不定式時(shí), notice前有時(shí)可加不定冠詞a。

notice后也可接that引起的從句作同位語、現(xiàn)在分詞或動(dòng)詞不定式作其后置定語。

notice用作動(dòng)詞的意思是“注意”,指將精力全部集中在某一個(gè)人或事上,或者看到了某一事件發(fā)生的全過程并且對(duì)此表示關(guān)心。

notice作“注意到”解時(shí),多含有“無意間”的意味,但如果用于祈使句結(jié)構(gòu)則沒有這樣的含義。例如:Please notice that the physical examination will take place tomorrow morning.請(qǐng)注意,體檢在明天上午舉行。
